Brussels, Belgium - the 5th European University – Business Forum was held in Brussels on 4-5 June 2013. Since 2008, the annual University-Business Forum brings higher education institutions, companies, business associations, intermediaries and public authorities together; providing them with a space in which to interact, exchange information on good practice, discuss common problems and build closer working relationships in an effort to modernise higher education with a view to meeting the real-world needs of the European job-market.
The Forum gathered 300 high-level representatives; from relevant European organisations and associations, Higher Education Institutions, large companies and SME's, as well as national, regional and local authorities from Europe and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to share and discuss experiences and examples of good practice, to network and to learn from one another. SEECEL was represented by Ms Efka Heder, SEECEL Director.
This year's Forum has addressed topics related to entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial university; change and impact; people and innovation as well as taking a closer look at some of the main current trends in University-Business Cooperation.
