Architectural and urban design competition for SEECEL building

Zagreb, Croatia – a competition for architectural and urban design solution of new SEECEL’s building, announced by Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts of Republic of Croatia and conducted by Zagreb Society of Architects (DAZ), have been completed by selection of awardees and exhibition of received architectural and urban design solutions in DAZ premises in Zagreb on June 18th, 2013.

An investment for new SEECEL’s building, worth 30 million euros, will be funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The Project is supported by SEECEL’s co-founder Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts and the City of Zagreb. Out of 17 acceptable architectural and urban design solutions received by DAZ, by decision of the jury, the first prize was awarded to solution developed by Mr Igor Franić and associates.

The exhibition was opened by Mr Gordan Maras, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Crafts and Mr Milan Bandić, Mayor of Zagreb. Among others respective guests, opening was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts as well as authors of other awarded solutions. SEECEL team was led by Ms Efka Heder, SEECEL Director.
