Coordination Board of the SEE 2020 Strategy

Vienna, Austria – the 1st Coordination Board of the SEE 2020 Strategy meeting was held in Vienna on 23 May 2013 in organisation of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). Following the endorsement of high-level regional headline targets for growth by the SEE region’s ministers of economy, the Regional Cooperation Council and its partners initiated the development of the SEE 2020 strategy, as the main regional framework for growth. The strategy is based on five pillars: integrated growth, smart growth, sustainable growth, inclusive growth and good governance for growth. The SEE 2020 Strategy should be adopted by the ministers of economy of the SEE region in November 2013.

Among others, the meeting has gathered representatives of CEFTA Secretariat, South East Europe Investment Committee, Education Reform Initiative Southeast Europe and South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning. SEECEL was represented by Ms Sandra Rončević, SEECEL Assistant Director.

The Coordination Board of the SEE 2020 Strategy serves as the main coordination structure for the development and implementation of SEE 2020, ensuring coherence and consistency of the SEE 2020 Strategy across all of its policy dimensions.
