Croatia Forum 2015

Dubrovnik, 9 – 11 July 2015 – The South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) participated on the tenth Croatia Forum, the annual foreign policy conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, with the main topic “New Development Policy – Towards Partnership and a Common Vision”.
President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić took part in the conference’s opening session.
The partnership between small and large donors, sustainable development, the challenges of terrorism – were some of the topics discussed by numerous high-level officials from Croatia and abroad during the three-day meeting in Dubrovnik.
Efka Heder, Director of SEECEL participated in the round table about preventing conflicts and peace-building which also covered examples of good practices in preventing crisis and lessons learned from real crises.
During her presentation of SEECEL work, Heder emphasised that we should not see a difference between small and big donor, but instead we should see the idea of collaborating together.
She concluded by stating how continents and oceans are not of the same size but together they create perfect home called Earth.
