Developing an Entrepreneurial Society: Croatia

Education for Entrepreneurship - E4E organised a series of events aimed at promoting entrepreneurial learning in education. E4E is a Croatian national coordination with the strategic goal to promote entrepreneurial learning as a key competence in all levels and forms of education.

The events took place under the larger umbrella of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and as a part of a Croatian pilot project „Children's Entrepreneurship Week“, fully supported by the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship (MoELE) of the Republic of Croatia.

All levels of education in Croatia participated in the project, and preschool, school children and university students participated in activities that heightened awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship as a key skill in every day life.

Ms. Tihana Kraljić, state secretary MoELE and chair of the SEECEL Steering Committee, emphasized that it is important to start entrepreneurial learning at an early age in order to develop a cohesive entrepreneurial society and mindset.
