Developing an Entrepreneurial Society: Montenegro

Podgorica, 29 October 2014 - A round table on the theme "Strategy for lifelong entrepreneurial learning 2015- 2019" was held and attended by numerous dignitaries, including the Minister of Economy, Mr Vladimir Kavarić, a representative of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Mr Mitja Drobnič, Assistant of Minister of Education, Ms Natasa Gazivoda, Director of the European Training Foundation, Ms Madlen Serban and Representative of SEECEL, Ms Maja Ljubić.

The Director of the Directorate for Development of SMEs Mr Aleksandar Pavićević stated that a strategy should contribute to creation of competitive and dynamic economy, capable of sustainable economic growth with higher number of better jobs and with stronger social cohesion.
Successful implementation of entrepreneurial learning and thinking, according to him, involves a multi-sectoral approach and cooperation of all relevant partners at the national and regional levels.

The strategy was in line with the program of the government for this year prepared, by the Ministry of Economy and Education in coordination with the Directorate for Development of SMEs while the technical support was provided by the European Training Foundation.
