European Commission: Enabling Teachers for Entrepreneurship Education

SEECEL was invited to present its developed teacher training modules for entrepreneurship as a key competence at the Enabling Teachers for Entrepreneurship Education workshop implemented by the European Commission in Dublin on 3rd May 2012.

The workshop was aimed at professionals involved in pre-service teacher training who expressed an interest, or are already involved in development of a pre-service curriculum which would include entrepreneurship as a key competence.

Ms Efka Heder, SEECEL director, presented the regionally developed instrument which addresses both pre-service and in-service teacher training for entrepreneurship as a key competence. She particularly focused on the developed learning outcomes and modules for teacher training as well as concerete experience in implementation of the instrument provided by the SEECEL pilot phase where eight ISCED 5/6 level higher education institutions are implementing pre-service teacher training modules.
