European SME Week 2011

The European SME Week is upon us again!

The SME Week takes place between the 3rd till the 9th of October and provides a unique opportunity for all those involved with SMEs to participate in a European-wide effort in raising the awareness of the SMEs as the key elements of sustainable and smart growth. SEECEL will be participating in the SME Week with its own 5th Steering Committee meeting that will generate discussion regarding SEECEL pilot activities in South East Europe.

The event will gather representatives from ministries of education and economy from eight SEECEL member states and provide a knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination point. SEECEL pilot institutions, a total of 32 schools, 16 higher education institutions and 8 business associations will also take part in the SME week during the piloting process.

Do you want to register or participate in a SME Week activity? If you have not done so, hurry on over to http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/initiatives/sme-week/ and sign up! You need to sign-up one month before the event, and sign-ups close on the 30th of Novemeber.
