Expert Group on Data & Indicators on Entrepreneurship Education

Brussels, Belgium - entrepreneurial learning encourages an entrepreneurial mind set in the society, the growth of new businesses and more efficient use of creative potential and existing knowledge and skills. As such, entrepreneurial learning is a policy priority of the European Union and EU pre-accession countries, as well as a growing and developing field in today’s learning and education context.

The European Commission is developing indicators in order to follow up on full implementation of above mentioned policy.

The 3rd meeting of the expert group on data and indicators on entrepreneurship learning was held in Bruxelles on 29 May 2013 in organisation of European Commission’s Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC). SEECEL was invited to participate as the regionally recognised expert institution in the field of entrepreneurial learning and it was represented by Data & Indicators expert group members Ms Efka Heder, SEECEL Director and Ms Maja Ljubić, Assistant Director.

This meeting has continued work of expert group from previous two meetings. A key aim of the meeting was to prioritise amongst the suggested indicators and identify recommendations for data development.
