Kick-off Conference “Entrepreneurial Learning in Education Systems (ELES) of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Phase II”

Jahorina, 13 March 2014 – The EU funded project, ELES, is dedicated to introducing entrepreneurial learning in formal education based on cross-curricular approach at ISCED 2 and 3 and in non-formal education as part of lifelong entrepreneurial learning.

The aim of the ELES project is to increase employability of labour force through reducing a gap between systems of education and business communities in BiH by creating, developing and sustaining links between schools and the business sector.

SEECEL’s Seconded National Expert, Mr Nikoloski, in his presentation on the theme, “Entrepreneurial learning – from EU framework toward regional initiatives”, stressed that SEECEL is a best practice model for regional dialogue and cooperation in Southeast Europe in the area of Entrepreneurial Learning. This principle can also be achieved on the local and national level through participation of the stakeholders in the policy making processes. By doing this, activities implemented on project level would also have an impact and sustainability even beyond the end of the project.

The conference was attended by representatives from the EU Delegation, Ministry of Civil Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Trades and Economic Relations and B&H Education system.

SEECEL was represented by Mr Igor Nikoloski, Seconded National Expert.
