Memorandum of Understanding between SEECEL and NCDIEL signed

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SEECEL and the National Centre for Development of Innovations and Entrepreneurial Learning (NCDIEL), former Yugoslav Republic Macedonia, was signed in Bitola on Wednesday, 20 November 2009.

The purpose of the MoU is to establish a framework for co-operation in the field of lifelong entrepreneurial learning.

The co-operation under the MoU will enable the two institutions to draw upon complementary competences and expertise and, hence, will make better use of existing resources in the South East Europe (SEE) region.

The signing of the MoU coincided with the high-level meeting in Bitola, organised by the European Training Foundation, which brought together higher education policy makers and entrepreneurship experts from 20 countries spanning the SEE and Southern Mediterranean region with an aim to discuss the piloting of indicators for entrepreneurship in higher education.

Ms Efka Heder, SEECEL Acting Director, said: “The signing of the MoU marks an important milestone in our relations with NCDIEL. We look forward to pursuing the co-operation by means of various joint activities and, thus, to contributing to further development of the lifelong entrepreneurial learning in former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia".
