National SBA Stakeholder Meeting in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

Skopje, 9 June 2015 – The South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) attended a consultative Stakeholder Roundtable for the Small Business Act (SBA) Assessment 2015 in Skopje, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the preliminary findings of the current SBA assessment (for all 10 dimensions of the SBA), discuss potential discrepancies in the analysis and to validate the findings.

The meeting was organised by the Investment Compact for South East Europe of the OECD; the European Commission and the Ministry of Economy of Macedonia, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Training Foundation (ETF) and SEECEL.

Held at the Parliamentary Club in Skopje, the meeting was attended by many stakeholder institutions including relevant ministries and state institutions and business sector representatives.

At the meeting, SEECEL, together with ETF, presented the preliminary findings of the SBA assessment related to the human capital dimensions of the SBA: Dimension 1 (Entrepreneurial Learning and Women’s Entrepreneurship) and Dimension 8a (Enterprise skills).

SEECEL was represented at the meeting by Maja Ljubić, Assistant Director.
