Zagreb, 4 - 5 December 2017, a two-day workshop for the future Apprenticeship Advisors was held at the premises of Croatian Chamber of Economy.
Aim of the workshop was the implementation of the "training of trainers": education and training of Advisors to work with enterprises and schools during the process of implementation of work-based learning at the employers.
Zagreb, 30-31 October 2017 - The Institute of Economics in Zagreb hosted a training workshop ‘Skills and technical change: policy issues’ under the Horizon 2020 Twinning project SmartEIZ.
The two day training workshop covered a wide of range of theoretical and empirical issues related to skills and technical change and their policy issues.

Dubrovnik, 30 June 2017 - the Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarović opened the 12th edition of Dubrovnik Forum 2017 international conference, organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.
On 4 December 2000, the United Nations General Assembly in Resolution 55/76 decided that, from 2001, 20 June would be celebrated as World Refugee Day. In this resolution, the General Assembly noted that 2001 marked the 50th anniversary of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees.
Vienna and Graz, 29 May – 2 June 2017, Croatian Delegation of around 20 people went for a study visit in Austria hosted by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ) under the Cap4App project. The purpose of the visit was to implement the Training of Apprenticeship Coaches that will provide coaching to project users in its forthcoming phase. This was just one of the first steps of training to establish the pool of coaches.
