Platform of Women's Entrepreneurship in Moldova

Chisinau, Moldova – in South East European countries women entrepreneurs are still on untapped source of business and job creation. The “Women Entrepreneurship – A Job Creation Engine for South East Europe” project aims to raise awareness on specifics of the entrepreneurship of women in SEE region with having enhanced capacities of women’s entrepreneurs’ networks and associations.

A “Platform of Women's Entrepreneurship in Moldova” workshop was held on 20th February 2013 in Moldavian capital Chisinau.

SEECEL was represented by Ms Efka Heder, SEECEL Director and Ms Maja Ljubić, Assistant Director who briefed about project activities and achievements.

Lucia Usurelu, SEECEL national WETNAS expert presented questionnaire and steps forward in the implementation.

Aurelia Sarari, SEECEL Indicators WG national expert introduced first draft of second generation indicators for Women Entrepreneurship.

Ms Lilla Pali, national SBA coordinator and Ms Aurelia Sarari announced wide discussion in regard to newly presented indicators through Ministry of Economy of Moldova web site, including: submission proposals via email, collecting and systematizing submitted proposals followed by dissemination meeting.

Anonced approach was deemed as very good in order to involve as much as possible participants in the process.
