
Tirana, Albania – The "Women Entrepreneurship - A job creation engine for SEE" project aims to raise awareness on specifics of the entrepreneurship of women in SEE region with an aim to enhance the capacities of women’s entrepreneurs’ networks and associations. SEECEL Director Ms Efka Heder addressed the attendees with the welcome speech on presentation of the project in Tirana on 27 February 2013.
Ms Tefta Demeti, SEECEL Indicators WG national expert presented the goals and achievements of the Women Entrepreneurship project. Presentation was continued on by Mr Edmond Sheshi, SEECEL national WETNAS expert who introduced Women Entreprenurs Training Needs Analysis System (WETNAs) and newly developed questionnaire and steps forward regarding the implementation.
Activities of SEECEL, along with the regional partners, are focused on four key development areas in order to support women entrepreneurs in South East Europe:

- Development of 2nd generation Small Business Act for Europe indicators for Female Entrepreneurs.
- Creation of a Women Entrepreneurs Training Needs Analysis System (WETNAS) on a regional level
- Development of training modules and training of trainers based on the results of the WETNAS
- Definition and promotion of criteria for best practice selection
SEECEL has started with the implementation of the "Women Entrepreneurship - a job creation engine for South East Europe" project in 2011 in cooperation with Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and Gender Task Force (GTF) in nine countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Former Yugolsav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
