Presentation of the Women Entrepreneurship project in Montenegro

Podgorica, Montenegro – The South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning with support of Directorate for Development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises from Montenegro has presented a  "Women Entrepreneurship - A Job Creation Engine for South East Europe" project on 1st March 2013 in Podgorica.

The purpose of the project is to promote women's entrepreneurship in South Eastern Europe through joint efforts of public and private sector, present best practices for female entrepreneurship as well as building the capacity of national and regional women's business networks and associations.

Ms Efka Heder, SEECEL Director and Mr Vladimir Kavarić, Minister of Economy have signed an Agreement on cooperation between SEECEL and Ministry of Economy of Montenegro.

Ms Marija Iličković, member of SEECEL Steering Committee and national SBA coordinator for Montenegro has presented second generation of SBA indicators for Women Entrepreneurship and Ms Ana Šebek, SEECEL national WETNAS expert closed the presentation with report on research about education and training requirements in women’s owned enterprises in Montenegro.
