SEECEL at the 6th University-Business Forum

SEECEL representatives Maja Ljubić (Assistant Director) and Thomas Farnell (Entrepreneurial Learning Expert) attended the 6th University-Business Forum, which was organised by the European Commission on 5-6 March 2015 in Brussels.

The University-Business Forum is an event that brings together 300 representatives from Europe and beyond, including higher education institutions, businesses,  national, regional, and local authorities and organisations and associations. The Forum provides a unique opportunity for stakeholders to discuss experiences, compare examples of good practice, to network and to learn from each other.

Among the themes covered through this year's Forum were entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial university, change and impact, people and innovation, social entrepreneurship and other major trends in University- Business Cooperation.

SEECEL used its participation in the Forum to share its best practices with other participants and to network with existing and potential new partners in the area of entrepreneurial learning. SEECEL also used the opportunity to provide comments on how to improve the European Commission's HEInnovate tool (, by enhancing the social entrepreneurship/community engagement aspect of entrepreneurial universities.
