Best Women Entrepreneurs in Croatia

Zagreb, 19 May 2015 – Gordana Nikolić, founder and the dean of The Business School PAR, was awarded the Best Woman Entrepreneur in Croatia by the The Croatian Association of Business Women – KRUG. The award ceremony was organized by KRUG for the 14th consecutive year on the occasion of International Women Entrepreneurs’ Day.

Prizes for 2014 were awarded in two more categories – the Best Woman Manager and the Best Woman in Social Entrepreneurship – which were received by Jadranka Boban Pejić and Vesna Plavšić.

The award ceremony took place in the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Zagreb, with their close coopereation and under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović who emphasized the importance of gender equality.

The South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) is proud to have the best woman entrepreneur in Croatia involved in their activities aimed at strengthening and promoting women entrepreneurship among the region. Nikolić participated in filming of inspiring stories, within the SEECEL's project "Women Entrepreneurship – A Job Creation Engine for South Eastern Europe",  together with twenty-six women entrepreneurs whose business stories were used as good practice examples.

SEECEL wants to congratulate the award winners and wish all the hard-working entrepreneurs every success in the future.
