WE national dissemination event in Moldova
The aim of the event was to disseminate results of the project “Women Entrepreneurship – a Job Creation Engine for South Eastern Europe”, which is being implemented by the South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) in Moldova and eight more SEE countries.
Director of SEECEL Efka Heder in her welcome speech expressed gratitude to Moldovan colleagues for showing interest in the project as well as for the support and professionalism provided throughout all project phases and activities.
Three women entrepreneurs from Moldova who took part in SEECEL project as their stories were selected as national good practice examples – Angela Chelaru, Victoria Novac and Valentina Uzun – shared their life experiences which was followed by the presentation of inspiring stories of women entrepreneurs from other project countries to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit.
Moreover, current start-up business opportunities for women entrepreneurs in Moldova were discussed during the conference as well as the difficulties of more active involvement of women in business.
The conference was attended by many representatives of the national authorities, international women entrepreneurship support programmes, women entrepreneurs and business services providers.
Besides Heder, SEECEL was represented in the conference by Maja Ljubić, Assistant Director; Sandra Rončević, Assistant Director; Sonja Šegvić, Office and Event Manager and Danijela Kasunić, Project Assistant.
