Advantages and Challenges for the National Innovation System

Ljubljana, 15 November 2016 – The South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) was invited as a speaker to participate in a joint event organised by the University of Ljubljana and Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) in Ljubljana.

The event focused on 'Advantages and Challenges for the National Innovation System in building a competitive industrial strategy in the Western Balkans' and gathered many important participants from the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the University of Ljubljana, academia, youth organisations and multiplier organisations as well.

SEECEL's Director, Ms Efka Heder delivered a detailed presentation of SEECEL activities and shared information on the regional cooperation with a focus on the presentation of results and achievements within the SEECEL project financed through the IPA Multi-country program.

The event was organized by the request of the media consultant contracted by the European Commission’s DG NEAR to implement a series of information events with partner institutions in several member states to raise awareness about the EU Enlargement process in general.

Besides Ms Heder, SEECEL's representatives were Maja Ljubić, Assistant Director and Ms Sandra Rončević, Assistant Director.
