The SBA Coordinators Meeting

Paris, 16 December 2016 - Following a successful launch in the spring, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) started a new cycle of the SBA Assessment based on the SME Policy Index for the Western Balkans and Turkey, so the South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (SEECEL) participated in the meeting.

The meeting gathered distinguished guests and SBA Coordinators. Also, we have to mention the representatives from the European Commission (EC), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Training Foundation (ETF), Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and other relevant experts and representatives.

The main objectives of the meeting were to introduce the approach of the new cycle, which contains some new elements and to engage in a policy dialogue on a crucial topic that repeatedly came up during the last cycle: access to finance for SMEs, especially non-banking finance where participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices regarding the subject.

SEECEL's representatives were Ms Efka Heder, Director, Ms Maja Ljubić, Assistant Director, Mr Thomas Farnell, Entrepreneurial Learning Expert and Mr Stjepan Srhoj, Programme Officer and Liaison.
