SEE 2020 targets adopted: SEECEL participated at Ministerial Conference

Tirana, Albania - the Ministerial Conference of the South East Europe Investment Committee jointly organised by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC)’s South East Europe Investment Committee and the Government of Albania was held on Friday, 9 November 2012.

The main aim of the event was to adopt the Ministerial Declaration on South East Europe (SEE) 2020 Headline Targets, addressing the challenges of regional economic developments in each of the priority areas identified by the SEE 2020 Strategy: integrated, smart, inclusive, and sustainable growth within a good governance framework, consistent with strategic needs of the region.

By doing so, the South East European ministers endorsed the results that the South East Europe Investment Committee (SEEIC) has achieved over the past year under the regional ownership.

SEECEL's Director Ms Efka Heder informed the participants of „A Charter for Entrepreneurial Learning: the Keystone for Growth and Jobs“ which was signed in Zagreb at the Entrepreneurship-Education Regional Summit held on 23 October 2012. The Charter signed by eight (8) SEECEL member states was immediately recognized as a mechanism for further development of different activities which will help the region to better meet the requirements in achieving the SEE 2020 targets.
