SEECEL celebrates the European SME Week 2012

The European SME Week is a campaign to promote entrepreneurship across Europe and to inform entrepreneurs about support available for them at European, national, regional and local level.

This pan-European campaign aims to provide information on what the EU and national, regional and local authorities are offering as support to micro, small and medium-sized businesses, promote entrepreneurship, and give recognition to entrepreneurs for their contribution into growth and competitiveness.

The European SME week is one of the measures, which implements the Small Business Act, the first comprehensive SME policy framework and is co-ordinated by the Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission.

To the wide range of activities organized under the EU SME Week 2012, SEECEL contributes with its Entrepreneurship – Education Regional Summit which will be held on the 23 October 2012 in Zagreb, Croatia where the respective ministers or their appointed envoys from the field of economy and education from eight (8) SEECEL member states will sign  "A Charter for Entrepreneurial Learning: the Keystone for Growth and Jobs".
