SEECEL participated at the 5th European Regional Economic Forum - Developing Human Capital and Managing Migration for more Competitive European Regions

On 8-9 June 2009, the 5th European Regional Economic Forum entitled "Developing Human Capital and Managing Migration for more Competitive European Regions" was held in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.

The event was organised by the Slovenian Business and Research Association, Municipality of Nova Gorica and the Ministry of Regional Development of the Republic of Slovenia.

Official guests from the Central and South Eastern Europe discussed and exchange experiences on a number of relevant issues, such as:

National and regional efforts in human capital development and prevention of brain drain; Strategies and management schemes for international migrations of the highly skilled personnel; Contribution of international and regional entities towards human capital development and a more balanced brain circulation in the region; etc.
