SEECEL participated in the first EU Thematic Forum on School-Business Co-operation

The first EU Thematic Forum on School-Business Co-operation, that took place in Brussels on 24-25 March 2010, underlined the many different advantages that collaboration can offer to both schools and businesses.

Around 100 participants discussed how school-business co-operation at the European level can increase interest in maths, science and technology, help students develop transversal competences and raise their motivation to learn and take initiative to create their own learning pathways.

“The Forum presented successful cooperation models / good-practice examples developed in different Member States, many of which are directly related to the concept of the lifelong entrepreneurial learning.

Hence, the final conclusions of the first Forum confirmed, to a great extent, the relevance of SEECEL’s activities envisaged under the Strategic Pillar I - Development of entrepreneurship key competence (ISCED 2 level)”, concluded Nenad Vakanjac, SEECEL Project Manager, upon the completion of the Forum.
