SEECEL Participates at the First International Congress “Towards Green Growth” in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, 28 and 29 April 2014 – Within the scope of the First International Congress on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Tourism, the OECD Investment Compact for SEE, headed by Mr Alan Paić, organized a first meeting of the Tourism Expert Group.

The aim of the meeting was to gain a general overview of the tourism sector in the SEE Region as well as to discuss the potential developments of this sector within the framework of the SEE 2020 Strategy. Experts from sixteen countries participated and presented their programs at the Congress.

Mr Gordan Maras, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Republic of Croatia, stressed that the goals of the  Ministry are those of the First International Congress: “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Tourism”.

Recently adopted by the Croatian Parliament, the “Act on Strategic Investment Projects of the Republic of Croatia” will simplify and create faster procedures for investment projects of national interests was pointed out by Mr Darko Lorencin, Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia.
