Teaching entrepreneurship to develop entrepreneurial competencies seminar held in Split

Split, 24 June 2014 – The seminar was organized by Education and Teacher Training Agency, an institution which provides assistance and guidelines in the area of general education in Croatia.

The primary goal of the seminar was to bring together teachers, school principals, experts and advisors in the field of education and entrepreneurial learning in order to further define the concept, approach, present the results of the EU project in which Croatian primary and secondary schools participated and most of all, to and exchange experiences and encourage partnerships in entrepreneurial learning.

On behalf of SEECEL, Ms Maja Ljubić, Assistant Director, in her presentation, ‘Learning Entrepreneurship as an EU Key Competence”, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship, within the policy framework of the European Union and the significance of all stakeholders being actively involved and cooperating. Ms Ljubic was assisted by Mr Stjepan Srhoj, SEECEL’s Intern.

Representing the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Republic of Croatia, Ms Željka Mrkša Mazalin, spoke on the subject of “Entrepreneurship as a Driver of Competitiveness”.

Parallel workshops took place during the seminar.
