The prize award ceromony for design of SEECEL-s visual identity

Following the key objectives and messages of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, all design students from relevant higher education institutions in Croatia were invited to submit their most innovative designs to the competition for SEECEL’s visual identity. The competition also promoted the efforts of the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Croatia (MoELE) aimed at increasing the efficiency and international competitiveness of Croatian SMEs.

A jury of Croatian leading design professionals selected as best a joint work of Zoran Đukić and Jan Pavlović, students from the Faculty of Architecture-School for Design, University of Zagreb. Special acknowledgments within the framework of this competition were also given to the two runners-up.

The prize award ceremony took place at the Croatian Chamber of Economy-Centre for Design on 5 May 2009, as a part of an exhibition entitled "Competitiveness and Innovation". Ms Tajana Kesić-Šapić, the State Secretary for Entrepreneurship, the MoELE, and Mr Nadan Vidošević, the President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, spoke at the occasion and presented the winners.

In addition to the received prizes, SEECEL will reward the winners with a trip to Brussels, where they will participate at SEECEL’s official inauguration at the EU level.
