WE national dissemination event in Croatia
The aim of the conference was to present the results of the project “Women Entrepreneurship – a Job Creation Engine for South Eastern Europe” that is being implemented by SEECEL since 2012 in following nine countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
The event was opened by Sofija Šmitran, President of KRUG, Sandra Rončević, Assistant Director at SEECEL and Gordan Maras, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Crafts.
Documentary movie about the progress and development of the project as well as inspiring stories of three women entrepreneurs from Croatia – Lada Karninčić, Gordana Nikolić and Vlasta Pojatina –were presented during the conference. In total twenty-seven such stories (three per participating country) were produced by SEECEL under the final phase of the project to highlight good practice examples in the region.
Following videos, representative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Višnja Mrakovčić Supek presented their program of support for women entrepreneurs.
Besides Rončević, SEECEL was represented in the conference by Danijela Kasunić, Project Assistant.
